We've all seen the kid with the runny nose, touching everything and whining non-stop as they follow their mom around the store. It’s every mom’s fear...having all eyes on you and your child and not because they're cute. With a toddler myself, I know the challenge we moms face venturing outside the house with our kids so I'm sharing my mom bag staples that almost guarantee a clean and tantrum-free experience. Here are my current favs:
Boogie Wipes (Our fav is the Grape scent) -- whether your child is fighting the common cold, allergies, or the normal day to day snots, these wipes do just the trick. They’re made with saline to dissolve mucus. Available at Target stores and online.
Honest Lavender Hand Sanitizer Spray -- this sanitizer effectively kills 99.9% of germs and bacteria in a convenient, no-rinse, moisturizing spray infused with essential oils and comes in three fresh scents. Available at www.honest.com or Target stores.
Shea Moisture Baby Head-to-Toe Ointment-- this is a petrolatum-free ointment made to calm and protect baby's raw irritated delicate skin. Perfect for soothing symptoms of diaper rash.
Huggies Natural Care Wipes -- these hypoallergenic Natural Care baby wipes are paraben, fragrance, and alcohol free providing a soft and gentle clean for delicate skin. The EZPull dispenser offers a quick and easy way to pull out wipes from the pack. Available at www.huggies.com, Target or Walmart stores.
Huggies Little Snugglers Diapers -- kind of self-explanatory...always be prepared. Available at www.huggies.com, www.amazon.com, Target and Walmart stores.
Samsung Kids Tablet -- pre-loaded with content aligned with STEM and Common Core, Educational content you trust from Dreamworks Animation, Sesame Street, National Geographic and more. Parental controls to monitor apps, set time limits and focus activities. Available at Best Buy stores and online.
Honest Soothing Bottom Wash -- this baby bottom wash features organic aloe, witch hazel, and botanical extracts to keep diaper area clean, refreshed, and feeling its best.
GoGo Squeeze Snacks -- these are the perfect grab and go healthy snack for not just Gabe, but for myself as well. He's not a fan of the yogurt, but we are ride or die fans of the applesauce. I'm currently testing out the Fruit & Veggiez bc he's a picky eater and I have to sneak veggies in every now and then for Gabe.
My son is also in the midst of swim lessons, hence the swim shoes and the common thread to every trip out of the house that is missing is... ELMO!!! -- who doesn't love this furry friend?!
These items are essentials when I'm running around with my little one and shit gets real.
